OLEDB to ODBC

Hi list... We are currently on E1 810 Tools Release 893 Win2003 MSSQL2000, and using OLEDB... We will change to use ODBC, according to solution ID 200949255, we also plan to implement "Connection Minimization". Are there any advices or secret triks about doing this change?

Any comment would be appreciated.
