Load balancing WebSphere servers

Hi all,

I just purchased a Cisco 11500 content switch for the purpose of load balancing our WebSphere servers.

We are setting up redirects in the 11500 but they don't find the websphere page at .../jde/owhtml. Does anyone know if the default WebSphere settings restrict redirects? We are at 5.0.2.x. Thanks.

No websphere does not prevent load balancing. You may note that when you go to the /jde/owhtml site it really is opening the index.html under the owthml directory. This index.html does a meta-refresh changing the url to go to /jde/servlet/com.jdedwards.runtime.virtual.LoginServlet. Note this can be different base on the release of the software you are running.
