Hello everyone,
I am in the process of upgrating from Xe to 8.11. Since the new environment was created, there were multiple changes in the Data Dictionary and glossary.
In order make sure we are always up-to-date in the DD definition, we have created a process to refresh the DD from Xe to 8.11 at will.
Here are the steps (in the planner environment of the DEP server):
1- Run R8900165U to copy the GT92002 records
2- Run R98403 (carefull!) version XJDE0053 to copy the DD tables
3- Run R989200P. In our case, we need to run it twice. From B7333 to 811 and from 811 to PH10536
After this, I can go look at the different dd tables and see the changes that were done in Xe.
My only concern is with the GT92002 copy. For some reason, the R8900165U does NOT copy everything that is in the DD7333.F00165 table.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to have the F00165 GT records from the B7333 DD copied (and translated to UNICODE) to 811 ?
