Add China in EnterpriseOne

We are in the process of manufacturing in China. Does anyone have some recommendations? One of my options was to upgrade to 8.11, unicode, multi-currency (which we are already on in XE). The other was to keep China seperate and have them transact locally and then manually feed information to us in the States and load that into XE or Hyperion.

We have a manufacturing site in China. We have found the biggest obstacle to be communication. We tell them over and over the steps they need to do in Xe, and they always seem to do whatever they want. IT usually gets stuck correcting any PO statuses or other problems caused by doing steps out of sequence or way after the fact. For example, the product is already in the container on its way to the US before they go into JDE, and when they do go in, they will usually receive the PO out of sequence. It has been a big issue with us.

I strongly recommend you to go Unicode.
It includes all of Asian characters, and it's much easier
to manage than CP/NLS pagecodes, DBCS, etc.
