Is this user profile legal?

I have a user profile in peoplesoft enterprise one 8.10 example ‘HRuser’. Two persons using this profile to view information in E1. Both persons are using terminal server to access peoplesoft and they are accessing different times. Is this user profile legal?
Help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Typically, these types of decisions are left up to your organization. However, it is commonly known that allowing multiple people to use a single ID can cause issues within the system. Most issues pertain to data integrity as well as accountability.

IMO, if you are a public company and must comply with SOA, I would refrain from allowing this.
