Does anyone know of a way to default a report to print to a LOCAL output

it's easy eneough to default a report to process in a specific Server queue but can you get it to run locally without the need to have to go through various screens to overide settings and view the pdf on screen.

reason is we want to be able to fax our Purchase Orders to our Network Fax (GFI Faxmaker)

running this on the server is a bit long winded having to find it in the submitted jobs queue then viewing the pdf and printing it to the fax. it would be much better if the pdf appears on screen after processing (hence the running it locally)

many thanks

You could use Object Configuration Manager (OCM) to force the UBE to run locally. This mapping would be done by your CNC person.

In addition to Patty's response, you may like to modify the P98UBE/W98UBE to skip the screens and print immediately to the printer. It is a standard object, but to do what you want, there may be no other option.

I had to do a similar thing with the P986162/W986162B for running on the server and printing immediately to certain printer, which may or may not be the default.
