Updates kill QRECOVERY SQLPKG

During the last 3 updates we've done, our production OneWorld Xe services would die because the SQLPKG's in QRECOVERY (iSeries implementation) would disappear. We narrowed this down to something happening during the our update, but are not sure where in the process it is happening.

Has anyone else pinpointed what is causing this to happen?
