Push install issue

Hello,

I am trying to setup push install on one my client machine. Every thign seems to be workign except that when the client install needs to start at the client , its choosing wrong executable...

instead of choosing \\deplomentserver\e810\one world cleint\setup.exe

it alwasy choose c:\windows\system32\setup.exe

I have checked the listner path and also regisrty key.. However it keep startig with the second commnad line.

any idea

We are e810 sp8.94_d1 winnt/sql platform

When you said you checked the registry key, did you check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_SOFTWARE\JDEdwards\OneWorld\Install.ini\E810 then the Launch Path? This is where the setup.exe is retrieved.

Patty Thanks for you quick reply. I already checked that. In additon, Oracle recomended to look at following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JDEdwards\PeopleSoft Client Listener\RunKey

Its still not working... I can install the pacakge from command prompt

Any other suggestion

Actually, I don't use push installs. I pull.

Hi Nick,
Have u mapped ur client to ur deployment server? what i mean is, suppose u map the E810 folder on ur DS with the name V, then you can go to the Client install folder
eg cd\
cd v:\
cd e810\One world ....\setup.exe
