Version 8.11 Standalone - Making mods to UBEs & Apps

Does anyone know of a way to move custom changes that were made to both UBEs and applications on a standalone over to a server?

Hi,

Copy the specs from the standalone machine(either the total spec directory) and copy it to a client machine ( 8.11 fat client\DV811\spec). From there mmove it to a server.

This shud work.

Have you considered Boomerang?

I regularly do development on my 8.10 standalone - then copy to my client's development box. It's as easy as sending an email with an attachment.

Export from standalone using Boomerang
Send an attached email to my client or save to a shared folder
Import from the email or shared folder to the client developer workstation
SUCCESS!

Thanks for the suggestions. I downloaded the free version of Boomerang - Boomerang Lite and then downloaded one of there free fixes (STRONGPWD). Once I submitted it, it fixed the problem. I can now checkin/checkout/save on standalone. Again, thanks for the help.

Actually, the free version of Boomerang just helped me fix a checkin/checkout issue I was having with standalone. Thanks for mentioning Boomerang, when I went out to research it, it led me to fix my other issue.
