Re: JDTools - utility for Remote Development using J.D.Edwards OneWorld

Hi,
I would like to know, if this program can run in the Windows 98 using Oneworld Demo XE.

Tanks.

Re: JDTools - utility for Remote Development using J.D.Edwards OneWorld

Thanks for your interesting in JDTools.
JDTools it is intended for windows 2000 / windows xp.
It was never tested with windows 98 / ME.
Copying of the object specifications will be possible to work, but jdedebug.log switching on the fly definitely no.
Regards.

Re: JDTools - utility for Remote Development using J.D.Edwards OneWorld

Is this tool good to move projects/objects between different releases ,such as JDE Xe release to JDE E8.11?

Re: JDTools - utility for Remote Development using J.D.Edwards OneWorld

I'm sorry. But this tool is not alloy cross release export/import.
I have no enough time to investigate JDE "maze"

Re: JDTools - utility for Remote Development using J.D.Edwards OneWorld

Thanks.

Does anyone know any tool available which can move custom JDE project/objects cross different release, such as JDE XE to JDE E1 8.11? This will be really help during JDE migration.

Re: JDTools - utility for Remote Development using J.D.Edwards OneWorld

Use Boomerang. Simple but ever so efficient tool. www.everestsoftint.com I can strongly recommend without reservation. However, one caution, do NOT use for standard JDE objects from release to release. It would work but the objects could easily have been modified by JDE and then you would not have current specs. Boomerange saved us hundreds of hours during our 8.0 to 8.10 conversion.

Re: JDTools - utility for Remote Development using J.D.Edwards OneWorld

I've been using your software and found it extremely useful, but now when I try to run it a message says that the trial has expired and I need to register it. I have tried reinstalling but this hasn't resolved the problem. How do I register the software ?

Thanks
