I have read, searched and experimented and have not yet dicovered the secret of where the jas.ini file must be located in order to be accessible to my web application running on WebSphere Application Server 6.

I appreciate any response, even those that tell me that I am in the wrong forum.

I am running against JDE One World on a Microsoft Platform.

Have run genJava to produce java classes to access JDE funtionality.

Hi ED,

To start with WebSphere 6 is not yet suppported by PeopleSoft/JDE/Oracle...as far as the MTR goes.

On WebSphere 5 implementations the JAS.ini is located under

WebSphere/AppServer/InstalledApps/<jas_servername_port.EAR>/..

I dont have a system right now to tell you the full path but you should figure it out.

And ya, it would help if you posted this on the EnterpriseOne thread.

I appreciate you taking time to reply to this post. It was also my belief that I was dealing with a non-support issue. Have attempted to put the jas.ini file in place as you have noted. The results were the same.
Thanks again for your time on this.
Ed
