AS400 Package Build Performance: E8.10

I am trying to get a benchmark on package build performance on an AS400. A full build is taking approximatly 9 hours on the AS400. This turns into a half day project with the preceeded 2 1/2 hour client build. Are others finding this a reality or is performance tuning needed in my environment?

Depending on your iSeries hardware it could take 9 hours building a server side package. A full package at one of our customers takes 6-10 hours depending on the server's workload.
