Very Strange Install

When we install a fat client on a WinXP service pack 1 - The setup program runs but the listing of packages comes up blank. We thought we had a workaround by putting in fully qualified path. This worked on one machine but not second machine. Anyone else having trouble getting the list of inf's to come up and be selected?

Make sure thhe ORacle Client is installed on that workstation.

The path to the inf's are in the registry of the local machine. For example we did a major deployment of a full package by creating and installing from CD. When we tried later to run an update package from the deployment server it could not find the inf's and we had to change the path in the registry.
