Failure to initialize runbatch.exe????

Help!!

This morning my DB/APP server started to display popups on the console stating that runbatch.exe failed to initialize properly. ex: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application.

This will happen on runbatch, sqlplus and formscape processes.

I have searched this site and MS site and have logged call to Peoplesoft. But I'm sure that someone here can provide me with a faster
response!!! Thanks in advance.

PS: we went live on 8.10 only 4 weeks ago!

Maybe a virus?

Looking into that... but does MS qualify as a virus????

You obviously have a system-wide problem, not limited to JDE, so this question is not really for this forum, although I'm sure many here have seen similar cases before...

There is a solution for this on the KG solution id - 200968924
Its to do with the DB System Setting in your JDE.INI for your Enterprise system, you need to change the 'ConnectionPooling=0'
