Configurator and Receiving Non Configured items

We have just started using configurator. Many of the items we have configured have already shipped as items that are not configured. We are now in the process of receiving several of these back from clients on RMAs but we do not have a configuration string for them.

I need to find a way of receiving these into a B/P location where the CSID does not exist, and in fact no configuration exists for either the component or subcomponent.

Any ideas on how to make this happen would be appreciated.

Current configuration: OW 8.9 SP3, AS400, DB2, windows 2000

Well, when we start with the configurator had the same issue.

we use this solution:

1. Enter an SQ for the configuration
2. Cancel the configuration.
3. now you can receive with a non stock line type, and make a Inventory adjustment for the item to a new lot with the exact configuration by selecting in the sidebar the select configuration and taking the apropiate SQ.
