Details: SOLUTION ID: 200944608: E1: RDA: How to Change Default Report Fonts For All Reports
ISSUE:
Want to change the default report font ID for all reports. However when the Report font ID is changed in the jde.ini, it gets overwritten when the user logs back into the EnterpriseOne software. How can the default report font be changed?
SOLUTION:
In the prior releases of Xe and ERP8, the P98980 Work with Fonts application is only used for alternate languages. In these releases, the system will look at the LocalCodeSet setting in jde.ini. Settings defined in the P98980 will not be used if the LocalCodeSet=WE_ISO88591. Starting with EnterpriseOne 8.9, the fonts to use on the report output for all languages including "Domestic" are determined in the P98980 Work with Fonts application. The font used is determined based on the language preference of the user as specified in the User Profile (P0092). To set the appropriate report font, determine the language preference for the user and set the font in P98980 accordingly. Once you change the Report Font ID, it will take effect after signing out and back into the software. The UBEFont_FaceName setting in [UBE] section in jde.ini will be updated as well.
