MRP (R3482) and Oracle Archive Logs

Has anyone come across the problem that during an MRP run (R3482) that a large number of Oracle Archive logs are
being created? The average seems to be 1 per minute.

This is a problem because . . . ?
E1's MRP is a highly I-O intensive process. By its very nature it will generate a LOT of redo log (with corresponding Archive log) activity.

We just upgraded to a newer faster box and MRP runs much faster, so fast that Archive logs are generated every 10 - 15 seconds (log files sized @ 50mb).

Net, net don't worry about it unless you have space constraints.
