Demo Junior 8.10 and ODA

Hi Folks,

I cannot use ODA in Oneworld 8.10 Demo Junior. I open a query in Excel and I can see the tables and fields for selection, but when I try to return data, I get the message "Unable to establish connection to.".

The only thing in jde.log is below (always there when I log into 8.10)

Try assigning roles to the demo user profile? In 8.10 roles signify security as well as task view. It may be necessary to set them up.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe there are issues with ODA and accessing a SQL server using something other than ODBC. I believe 8.10 uses OLEDB to connect to the MSDE database that is delivered with 8.10.

I'm very interested in getting experience with JDE / Peoplesoft OneWorld. Is is correct that there is a demo facility / download : OneWorld Demo Junior. Where can I obtain this against which conditions? I can't find anything useful through search eninges!
