Hyper link on menu\'s XE

i wanted to add a hyperlink on my jDE menu to a web address

i know you can add links to other windows applications but there seems no option to add a hyperlink further more i want the hyperlink to be visible to my HTML users

anyone has any thoughts ? were on XE sp21 L1

I haven't tried this, but it might work. When adding a new menu item, choose Windows application and instead of putting in an application name in the command line field, put in the web address you want to access.

Just create a Windows Application menu item. Where it asks you to define the Command Line place a the URL.

Example:
http://www.whateverdomain.com

sorry I know this works by adding the hyperlink in the windows application menu. the problem is that it is my html clients that need to be able to see the link and this application menu design defaults to "client only" rather then "web and client"

If you have the E1 Portal, this is easy, just add component with a URL. Otherwise, have you tried adding a URL to a task view?
