UBE run on ES failed (EO 8.9)

Hi Guys,

I'm new to EO 8.9, we had created a new test system with EO 8.9. Using the JDE profile, all UBE's we can run on the ES without any problems. But using newly created profiles, UBE's submited on the ES fails to run. This is the error:

error: HRESULT = 80040e4d, SQLState = 42000, NativeError = 18456, msg = Login failed for user 'BERCHMANN'..

The new user I created was "BERCHMANN". My question is why is it using the username BERCHMANN? Should it use the JDE system profile I had defined on "P98OWSEC"?

Any solution/work around on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I found the problem, I forgot to set the security server on the ES jde.ini.

I set up a new Enterprise server as well, and jobs were failing for the same general reason. I checked the jde.ini file and SecurityServer was set to nothing. I set it to our security server and it worked. Thanks, you helped me out. It would have taken a while for me to figure that one out.
