SP23 failed, can't run PORT TEST

SP23 failed, can\'t run PORT TEST

I have tried to install SP23 with no luck. I have followed step by step the instuctions for it and it failed. I have run the LINKBSFN several times and the port test fails. Right now my production system is down and Peoplesoft is not calling me back. What do I need to do to get my system back up and running?

Hey Stephanie, this is probably not the answer you want to hear but being
that is Saturday and Production is "down", have you thought about "backing
out" of SP 23? You might want to post your logs as the information you have
posted might not be enough to get the "correct" resolution!

Send us a screen shot or meesages from the porttest and also send us the logs from the server.

Just because port test didn't work doesn't mean that your services aren't up and working. Try logging in after starting services. We had a system that porttest never worked on but services still started and people could use the system.

If not, try rolling back to previous service pack. If not possible, attach some logs for us to look at.

yes, we did back out the SP. Not what I really wanted but after 8 hours of back and forth with People soft I had enough and wanted to be done with it. We found the problem was with the FTP, it will not FTP all the objects. We are looking into it now

We couldn't sign on. We tried but we were getting a security error. We had to restore a bunch of libraries from our backup and we finally got it up and running again on Sunday.

We are going to try again this weekend. I have my fingers crossed.
