Setting up JDEMAIL - problems with authentication

We are trying to set up JDEMAIL so we can send emails
from ubes but we are getting the following authentication error in JDE.LOG
"SMTP_ParseServerResponse : The SMTP server returned an error
Response from the SMTP server is <530 Authentication required"

Does anyone have any info. on this?

I've gone around in circles with them about authentication errors when trying to set up JDEMAIL. They were able to verify what is happening by using a custom java applet on our JAS server. They finally stated that they didn't have a fix for it at last check. So, I definitely would like to hear about a fix for this from anyone.

Have U modify the Ent Serv JDE.INI JDEMAIL section.
[JDEMAIL]
mailProfile="Default Exchange Profile"
Rule1=90|OPT|MAILSERVER=mail.peoplesoft.com

This will work..
