OMW Project Status Change - Workflow Process...

Someone at Connect had mentioned that OMW has (or will have) work flow processes built in allowing for messaging when OMW Project status changes occur? Has anyone else heard or seen this? Will this be part of a newer release? Any thoughts or insight would be much obliged, thanks again in advance....
