ODBC instead ofOLEDB

Hello, What are the reurcussion of changing the OLEDB connection to ODBC connection for Business data. I have SQL 2000 running on a windos 2003 server and I am considerign this to get some performance.

Any info will be highly appreciated.

I was on a PSFT Webinar several weeks ago and they mentioned they were going back to ODBC due to problems with OLEDB.
