WorldSoft: Convert report to Flatfile

All,

I have been working with OneWorld, and dont have any exposure to World. One of the businesses merged to my company has worldsoft running, and has asked me how I convert reports to textfiles.

Although, I use the concepts of .CSV outputs, and table conversions, I presume the same concept may not apply to Worldsoft.

Can anyone please guide me, how are text/csv files created on a worldsoft system, while running reports.

My mainframe knowledge is limited to the idea that, there should be a spool file created which can be coverted to a textfile.

if you are using World Software then you are running on a AS400. To
Convert a Report to file that can be downloaded first you need to ID the
Spool file. in the outq. then you use the command crtpf to create a
physical file. after that you use CPYSPLF to copy to the physical file.
then you use a file transfer from the AS400 to A Pc.
