DD Item Description

Dave,

In the jde.ini file there is EXCEPTION_Enabled flag in INTERACTIVE RUNTIME
section, I think the value of this flag controls the font/size override.
In my case it is set to True (EXCEPTION_Enabled=True) which I think it means
exception are allowed but it is not working.

Shahroz,
Not sure what version you are working in but in B7321 it also does not
appear to work. I wonder if the Interactive Runtime Settings for Font in
the jde.ini have some effect or need to be changed.

Shahroz,
Yes, I have the same setting in my ini and, of course, it still does not work.

SJavadia;

My understanding of your problem is that you are trying to change font on an
printed output from the report design aid. If this is the case, my
experience has been you need to check out the report and change the font as
well as checking out the version and changing the font.

I apologize if your problem is other than what I gathered.

Steve,
No need to apologize, the thread got split on this one so you don't see all of it. He is looking to change the font in an application for the associated description that can be shown.
