JAS/HTML Session Logout

We have some users that end an HTML session by clicking the "X" in the top-right corner rather than using the "logout" link. This is becoming a real problem for us as we are required to have an inactivity timeout threshhold of 6 hours. So, any dead-session lingers on the JAS server for 6 hours.... My question, is there a way to disable or remove this "X" from the main JDE screen to prevent users from clicking in this??? Or is there another solution?

Thanks!

I believe you can but you should talk to your Windows Administrators that is something that might be able to be accomplish by setting up policies for internet explorer.

We have just started looking at the same issue. If anybody has done this before then I would be interested to know what they did. I will post anything I find here.

Thanks,
Rob Ward
