Naming a new AS/400

We are migrating from AS/400 to another, but retaining the old box as our disaster recovery system. The new AS/400 obviously will have a new serial number. What can be listed as the Enterprise Server name when I add the new Enterprise Server to OneWorld:
Serial Number
System Name
DNS Alias
Other?

All thoughts are appreciated!

Are you going to be renaming the new 400 to the old one's name?

No, the old AS/400 will remain as our Disaster Recovery box.

No, we're keeping the old box (an 820), for DR purposes. We currently replicate the 820 to a 720 using Mimix. The 720 will go away, the 820 will become the Mimix target.

My understanding has been, if you replace your AS/400, you have to treat the replacement machine as if it was a new install from scratch. You can't just modify the old configuration to the new one.

I've attached a document PeopleSoft sent me for switching out an AS/400. It is no longer on the KG.
