Hi to all.

Where are now doing the Upgrade from OneWorld B7332.2 to XE Version. Actually We are now finished the Deployment Server installation and we need develop urgently in the old version.

Somebody knows if we can develop now in the old version while the Upgrade is working?

The Deployment is Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6.0, Oracle is the Data Base and the Enterprise Server is AS/400 and DB2 is the Data Base.

Thank you to all for advance !

Hi,

I think you can only develop a BSFN in C , because you can't made a package
in the old version

Re: [Re: Developing during an Upgrade Process ]

Sure you can.
Just use a B73.3.2 Developer workstation to make the modification and build
the package if necessary.

Be aware that the mod will not carry forward XE if you don't flag it as
modified and to merge prior to running the XE spec merge UBE in the
Installation Workbench.

Did you destroy your old environment on the deployment server you upgraded on ?

I would suggest you restore and reinstall - ensuring that the Xe objects
are installed in a completely different directory.
