SP22_T1 security issues

We've installed SP22_T1 last weekend. Everything went very smooth, until we received errors that some users are disabled after N-times login. I know of the encryption change for passwords that is included in the SP22 since P1. In our situation, it is now not possible to enable ID's anymore as admin. Only option is to delete and recreate id's.
Anyone dealt with this before?

Thanks,
Edwin

Could this be an issue with the password expiry option that is available in "User Security" application? Perhaps the new T1 One-Off put a default value for everyone? Let me know if that is the case as I'm planning on installing T1 this weekend. Thanks!

Re: RE: SP22_T1 security issues

No, if that would be the case, a lot more userID's would have been disabled.
I been talking with peoplesoft for about an hour, an it seems that there is an ESU, JDE7074, that needs to be installed with the SP22_T1. It is absolutely not clear in the installation guide, but after the ESU installation I have build a full package, and on monday I am able to tell you if all worked or not...
I've heard about this security problem from more colleague's
....keep 'm fingers crossed... will let you know on monday..

Hi Edwin

Thanks for your thoughts on our package build problem. When I go through it,
we are actually getting the same errors on our current servcie pack SP16.1
when we build in the DEP7333 environment, so I don't think the problem is
service pack specific. (we normally build in the DV7333 environment).

With regards to your security issue, we applied JD21799 as per the SP22_T1
instructions and have not had any issues. We are able to sign on and change
passwords with the new encryption. I think there is a note in the
instructions not to try changing the passwords when signed on to the
deployment server because this sar is not a planner one. When we deploy the
new package and change the passwords from a fat client it all works ok.
