A7.3 to EOS8.9

Hello List,
There is an ESU available, which you need, when you want to update A7.3 (World) to EOS8.9. While I was in Denver for training, a trainer told me, you have to upgrade at first from A7.3 to Xe and then from Xe to EOS8.9 - I thought, that most of the World-customers won´t do this work. For wich reason is this ESU available?

The guy was right, you must go to XE and then to ERP8.9. This is anyway the safest way to do it. There are a lot of table changes with ERP 8.9.

I heard of a client that is doing a migration from World to ERP 8.9 but I don't know how it is going there.

YES YOU CAN.

PeopleSoft has developed a direct conversion from World A73 to 8.9. This was always planned to be available 3 months after the GA of 8.9. The info of the ESU necessary has been posted on the Partner KG. I personally don't know when it will actually be out.

I'd contact your rep or GSS to find out when it will be available.

NOTE this is a direct conversion and is not supported for Coexistent customers.
