JAS and EO 8.9

Has anyone set up a JAS server n EO 8.9. I am trying to generate the serialized objects using direct generation and I keep getting SQL exception errors. The logs reference JDEORB.PUTSPEC(). Actually, the gen looks like it is working, but for some reason, no objects get written to the database. I have verified permissions, and they are fine.

GSS was able to recreate the issue, and it has been entered as a critical bug fix.

Keep us posted on the resolution, if any. We are upgrading from Xe to ERP 8.9 next month.

Check your data def for the OID and UID, they should be modified to 20 from 2. And the tables F989999 and F989998 must be dropped and recreated. Then try to do your generation.

I had my JAS setup for EO 8.9 without any problems. And I used direct generation . Check that F9889999 and F989999 have proper indexes setup. regenerate the indexes.What database are you on, and whats your webserver platform.
