has any one installed ERP8.9 on WTS

Hello All

Has any one install erp8.9 on a WTS server..

I have atempted to do this and even though install is fine I have few question

1) Is MSDE required on this box ( My instal works fine without MSDE) I intend to use this for developer to do their development.
2) My MSDE start and towrad the end rolls back completely not sure why.. Int helog it bascially say instalaltion failed... I donot have SQL server or any thing installed which might conflict with this.

Any help will be appreicated.

Hi,

If all you are doing is putting a pathcode (or more than one) on the WTS, you do not need MSDE. However, if you don't install it, everytime you go load a package, you'll be prompted to install this.

Thanks but according to JDE its prerequisite... I am not convinced with their story..... I intend to use this box for nor mal user as well as for remote development too.... Not sure if Would be affected by some thing later on
