MSDE installation issue

I am having trouble installing MSDE on a Terminal server on win2003 box.... I have tried it install manually with Sapwd switch it starts but towards the end it rolls back the install... I donot have Sql server install ed ont he machine ( so I am sure I donot need to rename any files etc)... In the log it simply say installation failed.. give nothign else.. any body have seen this problem....

I had same problem when trying to install MSDE either from a OneWorld
package or manually when logged in as a terminal service session. When I
logged in to the 'console' of the server I could install MSDE no problem.

We had similar issue. Make sure ms file and print sharing is enabled. This fixed the msde 'rollback' problem.
