Advanced pricing

Hi Guys,
stupid question from a 6year SAP convert to JDE....still on a steep learning curve. It looks like we have just basic pricing set up in our system here. I use a freight line to charge freight against parts orders - I want to have an element of this freight price automatically calculated as a percentage of the total order value (handling charge). Do I need advanced pricing for this? Any clues how to start to set this up? Thanks!!

That's definitely an Order Level adjustment using Advanced Pricing. I can

Yes, I believe you do need Advanced Pricing. You would setup a Adjustment Schedule and use Factor code 1 or 2 (%of net).

Set the Adjustment definition to Order Level. There is a lot of flexibility in the Advanced Pricing module that you can get into.

On another note. You mentioned that you did some SAP. How would you compare SAP to One World?
