Locking down a field in the processing options

We have a situation where we have a UBE with processing options - however there is one field on the processing options on one of the tabs that we want to secure down. Is this possible? anyone done this? I am thinking it can't be done since aren't the processing options actually stored as part of the spec file rather than stored in a table somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think you can.
You could, w/in the ube, set the p/opt to whatever value you need.....
