Meter Readings - Meter Changeovers

Hi,

Can someone help me with explanation of the values to be entered on the
Meter Change Screen Row Exit:

1. Current Reading: Is this the current reading on the current meter or is
it the total reading for the Equipment ?
2. Reading at Change: Is this the reading of the current meter installed
on the Equipment ?
3. New Reading: Is this the reading of the new meter to be installed.
This means that the meter has been tested and has eg 2 hrs of tesing on it
before it is installed ?

If I use the above mentioned terminology to do the meter change the system
just ignore my new current reading and put the Original Reaing in as a
negative. To me the logic is incorrect ?

Does someone know if there are a bug in the program ?
