What do you mean by ".. when .NET is going to come into effect?"?
To the best of my knowledge .NET is in use in many Microsoft shops around the world. If you're asking when Peoplesoft will modify the EnterpriseOne toolset to be based on .NET - the answer is probably never. JDE chose to be java based and be available on multiple platforms - not .NET based on a single OS platform.
 
Larry, I think this is a good question in reference to a replacement for MS C++ v6.0 since that version is no longer supported by MS. On Intel machines that build full packages, I would also like to know what will be replacing the MS C++ v6.0. As far as I knew, .NET is the replacement. So, are you saying that JAVA will be the replacement for MS C++ v6.0?
