Vertex for sales tax

We are looking at upgrading to Vertex for Sales Tax 3.X because we are in need of running Oracle 9i. I can't find the required ESUs anywhere on the Knowledge Garden (all I could find was payroll tax). Does anyone have any information on the wherabouts of this info and any gotchas I should look out for??
