SP22_P1 PRINTQUEUE change

Hi,

For iSeries users, the PRINTQUEUE seemed to change in SP22_P1 (we came from SP22_C1). It changed from a PF-SRC to a PF-DTA. The data item changed from 256 to 512 as well. The Installation Instructions Peoplebook (as PSFT is calling it) does not mention any special conversion. There is a document with these instructions (oti-03-0109). The document is poorly written so read it very carefully and you will be able to extract the commands you need to run.

Essentially, you will need to copy each print queue member to a temp streamfile and copy this file back into the new printqueue as a mbr.

I called JDE about this very issue and found that they had a a way of ftp the
entire printqueue to a temp directory on my workstation and then transfer the
contents into the new printqueue on the 400. This was much better than
copying a single *.mbr file; espically if you have thousand of *.mbr to
transfer.
