Not really JDE, but ...

I know this is not really a JDE issue, but I am hoping for a little help anyway. We need to convert 3570 tapes to either 3590 or LTO-2. Does anybody know of a vendor that can provide this service? One of our facilities is getting rid of their AS400. They used 3570 tapes. We want to be able to read them (if the need ever arises).

Why not just keep the drive? Just because you bag a system - doesn't mean
bagging the peripherals...
Just get another 3570 drive for your keepers.

Thanks, but that is not an available option. We can't hook it up to our current system without considerable changes to the config. There is also no real need to have the device sitting here "just in case we have to read the old tapes".
