Do you mean 8.0 vs. 8.9. There is not a 9.

In the JD Edwards days, they started out with OneWorld.
Then they renamed that ERP 8.0, as part of the JD Edwards 5 family.
Then they planned on ERP 9.0 (previously known as B9, I think).
In the PeopleSoft days, they renamed ERP 9.0 to EnterpriseOne 8.9.
So it's the big name game, and it can be confusing keeping up with all the marketing folks!

Yes no "9" per say.
Rather 8.9 is also known as "B9" in reference to OneWorld releases by JDE
