New DataSource

When a new datasource is added into OneWorld, how is the OBDC configuration deployed to users? Does OneWorld load it when the user signs on or do we have to add the OBDC configuration manually to each client?

OneWorld does not automatically load Data Source and ODBC changes when a user signs on. You will have to manually configure it on each client , or you can make a update package with only a databse component and schedule it on all ur workstations.

You can do either or. You can add the datasources manually and depoly them as a 'feature'.

If you add the datasource on the deployment server in the JDEPLAN/DEP7334 environment then the change will be deployed to OneWorld clients since the \CLIENT\odbcdatasource.inf file is updated.
