XP Workstation, testing OMW

We are testing XP and have encountered an issue with OMW. When one tries to
edit a 'C' BSFN an error occurs when VC++ 6.0 starts. "Microsoft (R)
Developer Studio has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience." Has anyone encountered this issue before.

XP setup. Go to My Computer then display system properties. System Restore needs to be turned off.

Yes for XP you should have system restore turned of else..most of your OMW operations like GET , Check Out etc...take forever and sometimes hang.


Also check that your VC environment variables are proper.
