Co-Existance

Question? With an upgrade from XE to either 8.9 or 9 I need to get my people off of coexistence.

Does this mean that DB2 400 will no longer be supported and we will need to put the data in Sequel or Oracle Server?

Hi Pat,

My understanding is that you will no longer be able to use WORLD software. You will be able to remove all WORLD Logical files and remove all green screen application.

The AS/400 will still be supports. (there are still a lot of clients using AS/400 so they need to keep support it)

Co-ex is only supported under XE. You can still keep DB2 400, you will just no be able to run World and One World. You would have to move everything over to One World.
