RE: Releasing Holds from F4209

There's no UBE or batch program to do releases. I am curious as to why you
don't want to release orders manually? Isn't it possible that a batch
release program could release an order that shouldn't be released?

There is no such UBE, you would need to create one. That would be a
relatively simple UBE to create.

Your message does raise a question though, if you have orders that are on
hold in the F4209 then how are they advancing to other statuses that would allow
them to go through to invoicing? If you are invoicing them I assume that you
are also running them through sales update? The reason that I ask is that
holds in the F4209 do not allow orders to proceed to the next status in vanilla
JDE programs.

There is a bug in the approval process that if you cancel an order and its in the approval path, the order gets stuck in the approval path. We have to do SQL to get it out The remove msg is suppose to remove the approval but it also removes any header attachments. BTW who are you responding to. This replay stands alone.
