When entering orders online through standard SOE interactive program (P4210) the processing option version lists call the appropriate Customer Preference Program set-up (R40400) and Transportation Shipment program set-up (P4915).
When releasing backorders online through the standard interactive program (P42117) the processing option version list calls the apprpropriate SOE program (P4210) which then subsequently calls the appropriate Customer Preference Program set-up (R40400) and Transportation Shipment program set-up (P4915).
When releasing backorders through the standard batch UBE program (R42118) there are no processing option version list to populate so that the appropriate SOE program (P4210), Customer Preference Program (R40400), or Transportation Shipment program(P4915). As a result batch released backorders do not route the same as online orders and are usually routed incorrectly.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what can or should be be done to get the batch backorder release program (R42118) to funtion the same as the interactive backorder release program (P42117).
We have up to 150 daily batch backorder release shipments that need to be re-routed before we can release them to the warehouse floor. Eliminating this task will gernerate an 1 FTE equivalent warehouse cost savings.
