Problem with reports

I have a problem,

When a report tries to be printed, this one is printed on the notepad, when it should be printed in excel.

what do I do?? how do I form it?

sp20, JDE XE, SQL2000, WIN2000.

what is the extention of the file ( is it csv..) if it change the settting in your Explorer to open CSV with excel... it will work fine....Jaise

If fat client, right click on a .csv file and say "open with" pick excel and check the "always open with this app box.
