Meta Frame Xp FR 2 or 3 and WIN 2K SP 4

Hi list,

My network guys instead of installing WIN 2K and SP 3 instead of installed SP4. I am running MetaFrame XP currently with Feature release 2, possibly moving to FR 3. Based on Citrix Information there are may issues with Win Sp4 about 3 pages of hot fixes.

I would like to know if there is anyone out there running Windows 2000 SP 4 and Metaframe XP FR 2 or 3 and are you experiencing any issues.

I have clients that have tried WIn2K SP4 and a combo of Citrix FR2 or FR3.

Simply put, Citrix XP FR3 is a mess. 3-4 pages of hot fixes is a joke - I don't have time and clients don't have budgets so I'll wait fot XP FR3a or FR4.

As for Win2K SP4 well it hasn't been good.

I'd stick to a max of Win2K SP3 with Citrix XP FR2. It seems to work which is good enough for me.

Thank you Dave, I just instructed the Network team to re-load the servers per my specifications with Win 2K and SP 3. Hopefully they listen this time
