Work Order Resource Assignements

I am going to use the Resource Assignments Program (P48331) to assign resources to work orders. The problem is that when you assign resources to a work order, JD Edwards look at the estimated hours for the work order and schedules it EVENLY over the start to end dates without the option to manually schedules it according to the needs of the Maintenance Planner. For Example: Lets say your work order estimated time is 10 hours and you have 2 days to do the work JDE will assign the resource for 5 hours each day without giving the user the opportunity to change it to lets say 7 hours on the first day and 3 hours on the second day.

Does anyone have any solution or work around on this issue.
